Methow History Project

Welcome to the hompage of the Methow History Website. My name is William Bell and I was a student at the Bush School. I created this site and the signs that likely led you here as part of my Senior Project in June of 2021. This area has a rich, well documented history, and my goal was to bring that history to people using the trail system in a convenient, accesible way. I worked with local museums and studied some of the best books that have been produced on this area in order to produce articles on a selection of historical people and places that were or are in close proximity to the trail system. Feel free to check out the rest of the site, and see if you can find the other signs around the valley.
